Pipe Grip Ambidextrous (or Lack Therof)?

Wider or Deeper?
Just curious. Going from a regular to a larger bowl pipe is it better to have a pipe that is of the same diameter but a deeper bowl, or a pipe that has the same depth as a regular sized pipe but a larger diameter? Why? :?:- profpar
