Dating a Sterling Silver Peterson with No Hallmarks

From Peterson Pipe Project...doesnt explain the missing marks but is interesting. The missing marks may make your pipe quite unique. Silver Band Dating Silver hallmarks are placed on the silver after an assay office, in Peterson's case, the Dublin Assay Office, has verified that the silver...

    Question about twist/rope tobacco

I just recieved some Gawith,Hoggarth & Co cherry rope tobacco. Man what a smoke! In my area (north Georgia), you can still find very old fashioned twist chewing tobacco up in the mountains. My question is this GH&Co rope essentially the same thing as twist chew? Any knowledge appreciated.

Price of Peterson Pipes in Ireland?

I had a friend who was in Dublin recently and said it was almost impossible to find any estate pipes. On the street almost no one smoked a pipe. Day 3 in Dublin he spoted a pipe smoker and went over to talk with him...guy was from North Carolina.

    Cob Replacement Stems

I’d like to know how many cob pipes produced annually are bought as souvenirs by people with no intention of smoking them. I say that because I really wish MM would offer an upgraded pipe for those of us who love to smoke a good cob.
