It came to day. It in good shape mainly needed a little cleaning. Definitely seen some heavy use. The shank did have some carbon buildup but I'm happy with it. -

That's why I like about the estate pipes. Yeah there's a risk but being that cheap it's worth it. -

I'm glad that the pipe will survive a some smoke infections but I still think it should be a special occasion pipe like when I'm playing DND with the guys or going to a festival. -

So I got this pipe from Amazon a while back and by shire pipes that's Lord of the rings themed and it did say it's smokable but with the bowl wall being so thin I think it's better keeping it on the shelf. May back it out if I go to a renaissance fair or something. For those who wondering with... -

Well that's the risk you take for buying anything used really but that's part of the fun with getting is estate pipes is having a nice little project to occupy your free time with. Even if it came out unusable I still have a nice piece to put on the shelf. -

Will at the time I was still smoking cigarettes so even tho I thought they were cool I just wasn't thinking about at the time. Plus corporate is so paranoid about you stealing it wouldn't be worth it. If I know what I know now I probably would've made a stronger case to sell them. -

That's a good idea. I reather see my collection go to somebody who would appreciate it even for a cheap price than thrown away hick I'll even reather them be giving away for free. -

Working at a goodwill I can tell you it tru. I remember 2 years ago this was before I got in to pipe collecting that we gotten this big rack of pipes and was told to throw them away. Kind of pisses me off now thinking about it -
