    Missouri Meerschaums vs. Everything Else

Speaking of MMs having a wide open draw. Any suggestion on how to break in this cherry wood beauty? LOL,

    Anyone try this twist tobacco?

The twist I posted originally is still available online as is the stuff on the Grandfather's spirit site.

    Anyone try this twist tobacco?

Not too bad. Pricey but, for me, it's going to go a long way. Ordered from another site called grandfathersspirit.com. They had a "sweet" tobacco twist I ordered to try out. They sell a "natural" and a "fire cured" as well. Might give those a try in the future. H

Your Pet Peeves with Pipe Smoking

Well, if you hold there heads under water long enough, the gurgling stops. At least that's what I've been told. ;)

    Anyone try this twist tobacco?

I tell ya...I've been trying. Actually contacted the the shop that sells the stuff but, apparently, they can't sell online. I've already heard that stuff packs a punch...and would love to get some to add to my cellar. If you know anyone that sells that evil stuff online, let me know. Here's...

    Prince Albert

Late to the game here but PA is one of my regulars. I keep a can on my workbench for when I'm working on a project. Grandpa smoked it as well so it's a bit of a nostalgia thing for me to. But hey, it's a consistent smoke that doesn't break the bank and one I can smoke while getting lost in a...

    Anyone try this twist tobacco?

Well, it burns well, right down to a nice white ash, tastes like tobacco, and it got my head spinning for a bit. Not much of a review, admittedly, but my palate isn't as refined as some on the forum. I'd say for a nic hit, it'll do the trick. This one twist is sure to last me quite a while...

    Anyone try this twist tobacco?

Hi y'all, Just wanted to know if anyone has ordered this from Norther before. Ordered the "Rough Country Fired" twist. Got it in a couple of days ago. Sold as a chewing tobacco and was dry as a bone when I got it. Shaved some off, loaded a little in the pipe, and it made me feel like...

    Thanksgiving blend?

I discovered this morning that Molte Dolce tastes almost like the mashed sweet potato, honey, butter, and cinnamon side dish I make every year. Good times!

I was thinking the same thing, although, I thought they might might be "trimmed" depending on the pipe. Either way, I'm happy to know know what they were.

Yeah, I picked up a pair. One is unsmoked and marked "Ropp Meerschaum" on the underside. As a Ropp guy, I had to have 'em. I picked up a pair. Both are marked, "Ropp Meerschaum" and one is unsmoked. As a Ropp guy, I couldn't help myself. Fairly small as pipes go but unusual enough I wanted...

That's my plan *when* the stem on this one breaks. Not sure if it just has to do with this one being an older one or I'm just lucky. =)

Well, what do ya know. Pretty cool. dr._sittles. I figured one of you astute gentlemen would know what these were.

You're correct about the pipe. I collect those ugly old things. Saw a couple of unsmoked Ropp meerschaums and had to have them. I don't think those are tampers...they're pretty small.

I have my grandfather's Omega in my regular rotation and it smokes wonderfully. I believe it still has the original stem as well. I've heard some folks say the stems on the newer Omegas break quite often.

GM y'all, Was going through a mixture of my grandfather and father's "pipe" stuff and came across these hollow tubes with metal ends. Pretty sure they're pipe related but I have no idea what they are. Can any of ya'll tell me what I'm looking at. Thanks. Harris

So far I haven't had any issues with them. Placed a couple of orders recently and they came in a reasonable amount of time. I have noticed shipping times aren't as fast as they used to be...pretty much across the board.
