Want to Open New Tins, But too Many in Rotation

Discipline. Without it, you hurt not only yourself, but everyone around you.

***What Are You Smoking, July 2022?***

Not sure if it's okay to comment off topic, but I sure admire many of those Radice. That one is a beauty.

    The Great Mylar Discussion

If you see mold with the neked eye, it's too late - spores have already spread to the rest of your stash. Mylar is unbreakable in earthquakes, readily fashioned into thermal blankets in ice ages and heat shields when the sun flares, and packs easier than jars. Mylar for me.

    Unusual Pleasures

I spoiled my first colt by treating him like you mentioned. Seemed the friendly thing to do at the time. But he became dull to my presence, tuning me out, and it took a lot more energy to train him subsequently. A horse that's sensitive to your presence is a real joy by comparison. Less...

    Too Hot to Smoke?

When it's hot outside, I smoke my 7.2 inch Savi Extra Lumberman. The smoke is cooler, and I think it also cools the air around me a smidge.

    Pipe Cleaners anyone?

Thank you for your most kind and generous offer. Regarding my "dedication", I must note that I owned the ultrasonic cleaner and electrolysis tank prior to dabbling in pipe smoking. I have used what was available to me to maintain my pipe cleaners in satisfactory working order. But I recognize...

    How to Re-Hydrate Pipe Tobacco

Per the article: "The proper RH of pipe tobacco is only around 10-14%." This seems off to me because 1) in most areas the average RH in the atmosphere is much higher, and 2) RH refers to atmospheric moisture, not moisture in a solid (which is "moisture content"). I have read that the moisture...

    Pipe Cleaners anyone?

I like to clean mine in an ultrasonic cleaner when they get gunked up - and then dry them rapidly before oxidation sets in. If they rust, I run them through my electrolysis tank.

How to clean a pipe cleaner?

Yes, this Autograph cost a bundle and I don't want to char it. Appreciate your sharing your experiences. I will smoke it with abandon and with respect.

How to clean a pipe cleaner?

I bought a Savinelli Autograph, my first briar, and am afraid to smoke it. I feel more comfortable with cobs.

I am going to try an ultrasonic cleaner next!

How to clean a pipe cleaner?

Beans didn't grow well for me this year, and i tried rattlesnake and red climbers. But the peppers and cukes made up for it.

Reminds me of pants shining like aluminum foil!

How to clean a pipe cleaner?

Thank you, Moderator. I am still learning. I want a nice, sweet tobacco taste without the ashy taste that can apparently come from negligence. Glad I can stretch out the cleanings, lol. Thank you.
