***What Are You Smoking, December 2021?***

Smoking a 50/50 mixture of Gawith Rum Flake and Gawith Dark Birds Eye out of a basket billiard. You can still taste the rum but it adds a lot of strength to the blend, which I thought Rum Flake lacked.

    How Much Do You Smoke?

When I started pipe smoking I was only having a bowl or two a week, now I'm at 1.5-2 bowls a day. Usually having a full pipe around noon and a nosewarmer size bowl to end my night.

***What Are You Smoking, November 2021?***

GL Pease Stonehenge Flake in a Butz Choquin Montmartre. I don't really taste any Lakeland essence in this blend, but it's still a tasty VaPer.

    Break-in Time?

I normally just smoke my new pipe like all my other pipes to "break it in". I've heard some people suggest Burley blends in the first few smokes to break in your pipe, but I'd say any easy to pack ribbon would do. Briars take 10 or so smokes to break in for me, and cobs only take one or two for...

Recommendations on a Lightly Flavored Blend That Retains Tobacco Flavor

I'm going to second all of the University Flake and St Bruno recommendations, both delicious tobaccos with tasty toppings to boot. A few I haven't seen yet would be Hearth & Home's Anniversary Kake and Classic Burley Kake, the latter having the heavier of the two toppings.

***What Are You Smoking, October 2021?***

Back to Anniversary Kake in a Morgan cob, I always find myself going back to this stuff puffy

    MClelland Cellars

I've got one tin of 2009 Christmas Cheer, and it's the only McClelland I plan on buying especially with prices now. Eventually I'll break into it on a rainy day and get to see what all the hype was about, but I think that day is still a few years down the line.

War Horse Green in a MM Legend Rob Roy Cob, I hear it will ghost anything else. Great top note though!

***What Are You Smoking, October 2021?***

Enjoying the day with some Stokkebye Luxury Twist Flake in a Missouri Meerschaum Diplomat apple. I can't tell if the topping is caramel, coconut, or both!
