Hi all; I am thinking about buying a new pipe and I would like your advice. The two I have my eye on are an Aldo Velani Or Bjarne Viking with a classic polished wax finish. Have I Damaged the Pipe Chamber?
Yes to the above only I use sandpaper wrapped around my finger instead of a dowel. You get a better sense of where you are at in relation to carbon in the pipe.- herrmann

Aromatics 101
I also smoke aros and like some and others not so much. I have found that when I smoke the old standbys like mix79, half&half, and others I get a sore throat the next day. Not bad , just enough to let you know it's, there. Not so with aros, like Lane, Newminster, Sutliff, and Stokabys.- herrmann

Cold Pipe
Hi all; My question is when a pipe with a stinger in it is still warm to the touch, will it do damage to the stem if I unscrew it from the pipe to get rid of the gurgle or saliva in the stem? Thank you for responding. Herman- herrmann
