    I've been reading about the "fighting Buckeyes" and their involvement in Starvation Ridge (WW2). I've emailed a WW2 website asking if they could look for the initials "E.N." in the Company K roster. It seems like a long shot. Thanks for looking, Lee

    Thanks for the tip--I'll check it out. Regarding the military pipe, I've been reading a lot about soldiers in WW1 who carved their info onto pipes. The mystery continues. Thanks again.

    EDIT: Fixed Capitalization in Title (See Rule 9) I bought a crusty old pipe because it had the following carved on it: Co K. / 148 Inf / USA / EN. I'm guessing it stands for the 148th Infantry, Company K and I'm guessing the "EN" are the person's initials. The stamp on the pipe is (I believe)...
