I've always told folks new to pipe smoking to buy the best they can "comfortably" afford. Some cheap pipes are great smokers but some, unfortunately, are terrible. That's just been my experience of course, but I think it's ok to spend a little to tip the odds in your favor that you'll be...- pappy
