Cellaring Tobacco in Original Plastic Tins/Cans or Use Glass Jars Instead?

Cellaring Tobacco in Original Plastic Tins/Cans or Use Glass Jars Instead?
Is it OK to use the original plastic tins/cans tobacco comes in to cellar them or should they be stored in glass jars instead? I am talking about the plastic containers like Prince Albert comes in.- NORVIN
