Something I Once Saw That I Can No Longer Find That Helps Light a Pipe?
I've used the extra long fire lighting matches. They certainly last a good long time and give me a greater chance of lighting well. Although I do have a couple of lighters I prefer matches when I can get em.- pufferfish

Possible to ruin a pipe on first smoke?
Come to think of it all my pipes have gone through a sort of adjustment stage. Sometimes the poor smokers end up as really very good but it does take time for a pipe to adjust. How to store tobbaco for daily usage?
I tend to bung my tobacco in a canning jar, airtight type. We don't get much in tins here so the tobacco is often left in the packet and that is put in the jar. As far as how many bowls per pipe I think the secret is trying to smoke dry and resting the pipe a bit between smokes, that way you can...- pufferfish
