    Well I do agree. In the Netherlands we have SantaClaus (5-12) Until a few years ago evrybody was waiting til 5-12 and then it was all Christmas. But the shops are in a Christmas Mood in the late of september.

    My Christmas would be perfect if I could get a sample of "The Haunted Bookshop". Due to the laws I cannot order it. (Netherlands). This tobacco has the perfect name so it must be a great tobacco.

    No mso489, we haven't had winters, like you described, for ages. The last "Elfstedentocht" was in 1997. We can skate, most of the time on special created icetracks. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elfstedentocht

    As far a I do remember the pipe was a little claypipe. About 15cm (5.9inch). They had to take it back together with a package of cookies (Goudse Stroopwafels) These little claypipes are now used by tasting en testing tobaccos. I had made a picture but I don't know how to post them.

    Hello from the Netherlands

    Not exactly new to the group but a few names forgotten. I live in the Netherlands with my wife, near the sea. I'm pipesmoker for about 20 years. My famous tobacco is Troost slices and SG FVF.
