    Nording keystone pipes?

Has anyone had any experience with these pipes? I am assuming that it is similar to the Falcons of old. At $30 I have been thinking of giving it a shot. It would be completely out of my "wheelhouse" as all I have is briars at the time.

Great format! I would love to hear more giants of our hobby in a series of round table discussions.

    The Northern Briar Scream

Very interesting pattern in that stem. I love Cumberland stems! Just bought a Northern Briar myself and am impressed with the quality in a relatively inexpensive pipe. Congrats to you on having a significant other who supports your hobby.

Ryan and Daughters 3 Sails I want to like this

Thanks for the advice cosmicfolklore, I have tried to pack it tight but it still had a short window of good taste. I agree that it tge virginias weren't allowed to sweeten. One of these days I may try Rimboche. There are just so many interesting tobaccos , it is a shame when a first impression...

Ryan and Daughters 3 Sails I want to like this

I have tried this blend in 3 different pipes. About 10 bowls on my looong commute to and from work. To begin with, the cut of the tobacco seems to be for RYO although I have seen some smokers call it shag cut. The charring light evokes memories of my Granddaddy's Lucky Strikes at 4 am on the way...

Is Pipe Smoking Becoming More Popular?

I don't see any evidence of a resurgence in my daily travels but obviously it is trending at pipe shows and on the net.

    Smoking in a Vehicle

I smoke in the car because it is relaxing and it is where I spend and hour and a half of my day. The ONLY hour and a half that is all mine!!

Perfect Way To End The Day

Nice set-up! I will be smoking a bowl of LNF and drinking some Blue Moon Pumpkin attempting to drive away the memories of the half ass football game the Gamecocks just played!

Oh My God! How Many Pipes Did You Buy!

This is my situation and since she owns her own business I never ask about what she spends her money on and she thankfully never asks about the occasional box on the porch for me. As long as the bills get paid, we are cool!

    School Full of Nazis....

Do I need to hide my pipe in my hat as I am driving by the University on my way to and from work?

    Tamper Soot

I like the black sock method!! I work in printing so there are always some alcohol based cleaners nearby that I can clean my pewter tamper with. Or the inside of my work shirts!

    Scary Babe of the Week

I really like the classic horror feel to both pictures. As for the female pic, it is quite apt. I have always thought the beautiful sirens who draw men to their deaths is also repeated in relationships!

    Remember when....

Allan, my cousin is one of those college grads who will owe for the rest of his life. Has a law degree, a divorce and a child support payment. But he is living the highlife!? His loan repayment is over $500 a month for 30 years. I started like you at 17 and by the time I was 19 I was married and...

The First Smoke Is Great, But the Second Sucks

Some pipes just need more rest. I have three pipes that I could smoke back to back bowls but I also have five or six that need at least one days rest. They are all well broken in. It just seems that the wood and construction is different. Look at the bright side, you are getting an awesome smoke...

    Remember when....

No worries Cajun, I am actually just a little surprised at how easily the "change" occurred! I actually like to see my pipe contentment as an indication of great purchases on my part! LOL. Family is absolutely the primary force in my life and I get much satisfaction from their contentment...

    Humidity Affecting Smoking

I can only smoke in the mornings and late evenings(as long as there is a decent breeze) during the arduous summer here in SC. Luckily(?) I leave for work at 5 am and am heading back home after 6 pm. The rest of the time I smoke cigars or just refrain.

Holy Cow - My McQueen Pipe Shipped!

Ever since the first Lord of the Rings movie came out, I have wanted one if these. For almost as long, I have heard horror stories about the service of that particular company! I feel for you, but hope all goes well now that it is en route!
