Peterson POTY 2017 trio: smooth, rustic, sandblast

I've been dying to get my hands on the Sandblast version, I REALLY have a thing for that pipe. It's beautiful and I think it's one of my favorite shapes too. Something about it calls to me!

    Germains

Ooof, thanks for the websites guys...but the shipping is outrageous for 1 tin. :/

    Germains

Ok so someone told me this was rare to find, and well, I'm seeing that it is indeed rare to find but does anyone know where I can get some? I haven't seen it in stock anywhere....is it possible to purchase from overseas? Is it really THAT good or is it just hype because it's rare?

Thinking Of Opening One Of My Tins.

Unrelated question What is this members of the Black Frigate thing I see? How do I become a part of that lol

    Dagner pipes?

@zack24 Yeah I remember reading they were made in Italy, I have no issue with that. Italian made pipes seem to be very highly regarded even if they are factory made. What pipes do you make Zack?

    Dagner pipes?

Lol that's funny. Yeah they definitely seem to have a bit of an edgy vibe to them with a little bit of a crude demeanor. I think their original market was "blue collar smokers" which is fine, I just wasn't sure why they weren't mentioned more here. Actually here and another pipe forum there is...

    Dagner pipes?

I've only seen one thread about these, but haven't seen these talked about much. Are they not liked by the pipe community? Can anyone tell me anything about them?

Thinking Of Opening One Of My Tins.

@chasingembers Regular mason jars are fine right?

Thinking Of Opening One Of My Tins.

@chasingembers I figured as much, which is why I was reluctant in opening one of them without having a fresh jar handy. I don't smoke often enough to go through a whole tin of tobacco.

Thinking Of Opening One Of My Tins.

I still haven't opened one yet, but Black Frigate and Blackhouse seem to be the most mentioned here, following that would be Balkan Blue..... Hmmmm...it's a tough call. I also didn't smoke all weekend because I ended up eating pizza Friday night and burned my mouth horribly on it so I didn't...

Thinking Of Opening One Of My Tins.

So I currently have quite a few tins that are unopened and I'd like to try something new...keep in mind all of these tins have been unopened and sitting in a dark space on my shelf for the past 2 1/2 - 3 years. However, this is what I got unopened and I want to start smoking one of them....help...

    Samuel Gawith Recommendations?

Jim, I've noticed, I'll try those sites. I tried Cup o Joes, TobaccoPipes, and SmokingPipes and many of the blends recommended aren't there. I am stateside so I am going to take your advice, although the Gawitch and Haggarth blends sounded less appealing to me than the SG blends :?

    Tobacco Flavor/Profile Guide?

Hi all I've scoured this forum for an answer but I wanted to know if there is a guide to all the tobacco types and subtypes and what they usually taste like? In a detailed fashion. I have a very good palate for picking up nuances in flavor but I've always found tobacco to be the most difficult...

    Samuel Gawith Recommendations?

So I went to TobaccoPipes and Smokingpipes and theybars sold out of most of those tins -_- Are these sold out for good or just really popular?

    Samuel Gawith Recommendations?

@JimInks So kind of like rose water, and such? That's used heavily in Arabic and Indian cooking, it might taste really good! I'm not opposed to trying that I might like in fact.
