    I bought a briar pie first and I enjoy it, however on a suggestion from this forum, I also bought a cob for fishing. I have found the cob is more enjoyable and easier to clench. Is this normal or should I look for a new briar?

    That is good advice on the cob pipe, I must admit I never thought of it but I will invest in a cob pip very soon. Does it hurt to keep the pipe in the same bag/pouch as the tobacco? Providing you let it cool.
