Are Increasing Numbers of Pipe Smokers Good or Bad?

In my opinion, unless the number of new pipe smokers is big, I don't think it will influence the price much. Nonetheless, it is always nice to welcome new pipe smokers (and introduce different kinds of pipes and tobaccos, promoting PAD and TAD...)

    Lighter Suggestion?

Zippo works like a charm for me. :puffy:

    Muted Flavor from Cob.

I used to have Tom Sawyer. PS' English Luxury smoked great in there for first few times. And it started to deliver faint taste with other English blends and eventually bland. After many other attempts with other types of blend, it still was tasteless.

    Fishy New Brebbia?

Thank you all for your thoughts. I was told that Rombo series is seconds. So that explains the issues. As you said, maybe it was going good until they had the drilling issue. I haven't smoked it yet, however, as many of you said, if it smokes well, I am good to go! :puffy:

    Fishy New Brebbia?

mso489 - I see. If there were stamping, I would have felt "safer(?)" because that was the norm for me so far. All my new pipes had the stamping. However, every pipe is different. There are different kinds of pipes with different customs. As you pointed out, since stamping has never been...

    Fishy New Brebbia?

didimauw - I agree that new pipe should be hassle-free. Should I clean it with Salt & Alcohol?

    Fishy New Brebbia?

Thank you for your thoughts! I have got it from eBay, however, the seller seemed to be reputable. The seller's rating was 99.1% (28102 ratings) and was handling lots of Italian pipes (Savinelli, Brebbia, Molina, Gigi, etc.) The pipe can be returned in 14 days. However, the seller is not as...

    Fishy New Brebbia?

I have heard lots of good things about Brebbia and I FINALLY found one that caught my eye. Just a simple apple pipe. It got here today from Italy. However, there are few things I find odd. 1) There is Brebbia's logo on the stem but no stampings on the briar. All my pipes have some form of...

    Left or Right Sided Smoker

I am left handed too. I hold my pipe in left hand and mostly clench to the left. Holding it with right hand and clenched to the right seems a bit awkward for me.

    Messin With Mastro De Paja

I agree with you. To me, it looks much better after!

Do You Smoke English Blends All Year?

I crave aromatics and milder blends like EMP when it is hot outside. But I also smoke English blends at night when hot weather cools down. I wish I could smoke inside my room with A/C. Then I could smoke anything anytime! :puffy:

    Modified Cob pipe

That is an awesome pipe! I like how it is partially rusticated (?) and smooth wood on top.

Irish Oak - Have I hit the Jackpot or Mold?

alan73 - Wow, that took me long to notice. I just noticed that I misread your post that you didn't see MOLD on tobacco, instead of the plume. I feel like my post has given an impression that I was disregarding alan73's opinion by saying "The typical mold would..." (which I did not). I am sorry...

    Brebbia Pipes Reputation?

Don't have one but planning to get one. I have heard that they smoke great.

Irish Oak - Have I hit the Jackpot or Mold?

Thank you all for your thoughts! Cortez - The picture of FVF in the link has the similar brown/yellow sugary powder except that FVF's seems to be flat on the flakes, while mine does not seem to be flat, but rather, stood (?) up. Thanks for the link! alan73 - The typical hairy mold looks...

Irish Oak - Have I hit the Jackpot or Mold?

These look more like sugar cubes and brown sugars than mold when magnified. Well that seems to solve the issue. Thank you though for your time!
