    Dunhill Pipe W60 Bamboo

I am also the owner of a Whangee as I believe they are affectionately called. Bought from the wife of a late pipe smoker. The stamping is very worn (presumably just due to wear 'n tear) but I can just make out the circle with a "W" and "LB" (which I believe refers to Large Billiard, since it...

No Enemies By Charles Mackay (English Chartist poet, 1814–1889) You have no enemies, you say? Alas! my friend, the boast is poor; He who has mingled in the fray Of duty, that the brave endure, Must have made foes! If you have none, Small is the work that you have done...

What Is Your Favorite "Manly" Poem?

To be recited with Aussie accent: As I was walking through Earl's Court, into a pub I was lured. Where a nosy pom asked "Where you from?" as I downed the amber fluid. I said "Get it straight, I'm an Aussie mate, and I'm fixing to get plastered. 'Cos the beer is crook, and the birds all look...

    Smoking Buddy

The townhouse complex where I live was a while ago overrun with rabbits and one small fella would come and join me when I smoked outside. He was a mottled black and gray so I dubbed him "Dottle".

    Dunhill Shape 743

At the risk of jacking the thread, I have a sort of similar Bruyere but with a longer shank in the style of a Liverpool, pronounced fishtail stem and stamped '762'. My browsings on the web have turned up naught. It has a 1967 date with an '8' floating below and to the right of the '7' which, I...

    Irish Cask?

I'm no super taster, but FWIW this is also my go to favourite. I'm on my 2nd tin of Irish Cask and there is (to me) no discern-able difference to Irish Oak. Still the same Irish more-ish goodness.
