Show Off Your Meerschaum Pipes Here!

Some very nice pipes in this thread. Buzzbegone's pipe being my favourite. As soon as the Turkish pipe makers sort out their tenon and mortise systems (some already are) I think Meerschaum should be recognised as the superior material for pipes.

    Bill Bailey's Balkan Blend--Dan Tobacco

BBBB is great. I often mix it though with whatever I feel like on the day. I mixed it with Kentucky Bird the other day and also little wren. Not perfect but interesting.

A mix; 50% Bill Baily's Balkan, 25% Kentucky Bird and 25% Little Wren. A Nice floral but smokey bowl. In my Poker Meerschaum.

Is a Pressed Meerschaum Bowl in a Gourd Calabash Bad?

I had a pressed Meer Calabash that I loved. There wasn't any difference in smoking quality between it and my block Meer pipes. I gave it to a friend of mine when he fell on hard times and I pushed pipe smoking on him as a partial remedy for the associated melancholy that ensued. I wouldn't...

Hello everyone.Nice to be here. I have been enjoying pipe tobacco for a number if years and have a small collection of pipes. I smoke mainly Meerschaum pipes these days as I prefer the inherent qualities of sepolite over briar. That being said my Falcon and Corncob get regular smokes when I am...
