    I Finally Got Lucky!

Went to an Estate Sale this morning. I didn't get this group of pipes for a song but got them for WELL less than what they are worth. 3 W.O. Larsen pipes and the other two are Savanelli Autograph 4s. The big moment for me was the lighters. Two are Dunhill. The gold one and the Old Boy. 10...

What Was Your First Time Like?

With all this talk about McClelland, I got to thinking about my first time. I have been smoking a pipe for about 12 years. I can remember as I explored different blends I was steered toward the Frog. That was my first experience with McClelland and I was blown away. On the Town has a strong...

    Snapped In Two, Need Recomendations

My Benni Jorgensen Pipe was dropped the other day and it snapped in two. I've researched this a bit an have seen it is possible to repair with an inner tube. Do any of you have recommendations for a current pipe repair shop that is good at this type of repair. It was a clean break, just not...

    Scratching and Itch

I haven't bought a pipe for quite some time. then the Texas Pipe show came around and I attended for the first time. While there I bought a beautiful Bill Walther pipe. All great right. Nope. As you can imagine, like at any show, there were pipes of all shapes, sizes and materials. I found...

Met Bill at the Texas show this weekend. Nice guy. He made me a Hell of a deal on this pipe he called the Turtle. Definitely one of the more unique looking pipes I have purchased, but it struck the right chord with me. I also picked up this "Come and Take It" tamper. Great time.

    Back at it Again

Have been exploring cigars mostly for at least a year or so. PAD cam back and I have pivoted back to more pipe smoking. Recently acquired a Savinelli Bing and an Icarus. The Bing is an awesome smoker. The Icarus has only had one bowl through it, but has promise.
