First off, I would suggest holding off on making the stem for a churchwarden, if you want to buy one thats fine. I usually just have something to drink, something like a stronger flavored soda and a bite to eat after a pipe, and before, and sometimes during... ;) But eating and drinking a little bit afterwards will definintly help. So it seems like the humble Corn Cob pipe has been getting a lot of discussion on here. How many bowls do you smoke in a day or a week?
I usually get 2 bowls in a normal week. This week though, I had a friends 21st party and I had a cigar, and about 5 bowls over the course of several hours (tounge still feels like sandpaper) So I'm limited out for a couple weeks :P- frostyforge

What are some good Fall blends?
Ya'll are driving me nuts, I'm in the same boat as Pstlpker. Here in Florida its a balmy mid-90's during the day. But there's just that hint of cool at night that makes a pipe seem better, and better, and better. So, ya'll up north, count your blessings, and enjoy a bowl for me.- frostyforge

Things you see, that dont make sense, and leave your head aching?
For me, all the "Anti-tobacco" ads that only show cigarettes...those aren't made with real tobacco people! And then all of us that smoke "alternatives" are put in the same catagory as the cigarette smokers. No offense to anyone that smoke the coffin-nails of course, but I really hate being...- frostyforge
