Visiting Charlotte North Carolina looking for a B&M
Gentlemen, I will be visiting Charlotte NC for a conference in January. Can any of my esteemed brothers recommend a nice B&M to visit? The hotel I am staying at is in the downtown area and I will not be having a car, so something in walking distance would be best.- wannashmooze

Sasieni Second Mayfair estate pipe
I recently bought a Mayfair bent pipe at an antique shop. It had a thick cake, chipped rim, oxidized stem, and a lakelands ghost. After a thorough cleaning/reaming/SA treatment it smokes quite well! I paid $20 which i feel was well worth it. A google search told me this is a sasieni second...- wannashmooze

Re-drilling a draft hole
So here is a draft hole picture of an estate that I recently fixed up. The pipe is a Mayfair, which is a Sasieni second. Nice briar, well shaped, etc. The draft hole, however seems to end about 2mm above the bottom of the bowl. I know that's probably why this pipe is a second, but does anyone...- wannashmooze
