Very nice I was born in Bayshore lived in West Islip as a kid then moved away for a while, but moved back after my grandmother passed away and I moved in with my grandfather in Huntington for a year before he passed away then I joined the Army and have only been back to visitor a few times.
What part of Long Island? I was born and raised their. I’m glad that after all that stress and trouble you stuck with it and are now enjoying the great hobby.
I was part of a small cigar group their on the base I was at but I have been trying to stick to just pipes, but I might have to go back to cigars when I get over their and track them about pipes
I did a rotation their last year and I’m going back to the same base. So I already know about the fun and the Juicy Gurls as we called them. We actually learned how to scam them after a while haha.
I will be moving to my next duty station South Korea in January, and was wondering if there was anybody here that is a member or knows of any pipe clubs or groups out their.
Welcome to the forum. It’s funny how many people like myself also start out the same way of buying pipes to restore and then resell them but not actually selling them.
It’s more of an observation and suggestion. Yes it was more of a personal fact, but I also know it’s not law. I have smoked English blends out of a pipe not made in England before and really enjoyed it myself.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and ways of doing things you do what works for you I do what works for me. Just because we have our own set of “rules” for our pipe smoking doesn’t mean we are not part of the pipe smokers family anymore hahaha
