    Anyone Try Monkey 47 Gin?

I disagree, but it's a matter of taste, i guess. I enjoy it on the rocks with a lemon peel and freshly ground black pepper. Good stuff

Ascanian No. 1 VS Ascanian No. 2

I found No 2 weak on perique. Not necessarily in amount used but on how it translates into flavor. I suspect the orientals, which are of good quality, have something to do with it. It's a decent blend, nonetheless.

    Greetings from Greece

Welcome to the forum. I had a Deluxe pipe myself, before giving it to a friend, who eventually got into pipe smoking. It was a solid smoker made of olive wood. Enjoy the ride, especially these early, tricky days in your journey into pipedom.

    Solani Aged Burley Flake

I can only speak for blends available in Europe. Although not pure burleys, these have more pronounced burley flavor than ABF: Mac Baren Golden Extra, Mac Baren HH Burley Flake, Amphora Burley Flake.

    Solani Aged Burley Flake

No, they got it wrong. After smelling the tobacco in the tin, i suspected the topping. My though became stronger after a couple of smokes. So i did some research. Here is the link to the german administration for tobacco product ingredients. You will find some interesting things in here...

    Solani Aged Burley Flake

This because ABF is actually topped with licorice. I also get a lot of molasses out of it and indeed the burley is fairly muted.

A Natural Conspiracy Against Me Smoking

It's not nature conspiracies, it's choices. Set a room as smoking one, open the windows and enjoy your pipe.

Try a lighter packing. Also a great deal of humidity can come from our breath condensation, so if you clench a lot, this could be a possible cause.

    Any Savinelli Series 3 Owners?

121ks. The stummel is machined as good as any other Savinelli, this one has a fill as you can see. The stem is a little beefy but very solid overall. It is an excellent smoker and the fact that it only costed like 30 euros makes it even better. They colour pretty nicelly and you might get some...

    Mac Baren Dark Twist

You might want to try Roll Cake. It is spicier than Stockton and a little fuller in body as well.
