    MacBaren Stockton Spun Cut

Had some from the 2020 release today to refresh my memory as I hadn't had any in a couple months. Pretty good blend, though seems it's one of those you want to jar and age for a while to smooth out and unmuddle the second half of the bowl. I wouldn't rush out to splurge on yet another "limited...

Great recommendation, Jimmy. This stuff is awesome - appropriate name, IMO

    ISO Sandalwood/Cedar notes

Sutliff Match RR smells like a head shop in the jar, though closer to patchouli than sandalwood. Fortunately, the smell doesn't appear to transfer to the taste.

Yay, and I am not generally a fan of C&D. Definitely worth a shot

    What Cigar are You Smoking?

Weeded the garden, played chasing games with the kids (of their own invention), a game of croquet, and a walk with the family and the ailing dog after dinner. Now, a '16 HUPC.

Please Describe the Taste of Black Tea.

The Tobbacolypse: Would it Affect You at All?

I've got a few years' supply and am moving to growing my own as I live in a prime Burley-producing area. Starting with some One Sucker and moving on to either that or another plus a Virginia crop for 2022. If I'm feeling particularly adventurous, will add an Oriental as well.

    What Cigar are You Smoking?

In the past couple years, my wife and I discovered the magic of rhum (vs rum). We love the dry flavors (vs the overly sweet flavors of rum). It works so well mixing or sipping. Unfortunately, the only rhum available near us is barbancourt, which is very good, but we're keeping our eyes open...

    Aged Wessex Campaign

Great to read. I got a sample from a generous soul when I first started, along with a tin for when I finished it. Still haven't cracked the tin yet, but can see how this would be special with some age. I put up 5 tins last month and can see going back for more depending on availability.

    My Tobacco Options

That's no lie - deciding what to smoke. Definitely have had the occasion where I light something up and 10 minutes later, I'm like, "Why didn't I grab X instead - that's what really would have hit the spot!" It's a wonderful problem to have.

    First Time Orlik Golden Sliced

On closer, side by side inspection, there is a difference in smell, with the Orlik smelling more of its sweet topping vs the PH smelling more of DFK. The flakes look identical. What is interesting is the description on the tins - the Orlik version is pretty straight forward, but the PH...
