    I use burley blends for the initial break in. They leave a sticky residue on the walls of the bowl that small amounts of ash attach to and coat the bowl.     My teeth are fairly sharp and with acrylic stems they eventually wear in slightly so that clenching is possible and secure. I am not a fan of vulcanite due to oxidation so acrylic is the way for me. Hope it works out for you,bro.
