    Waiting For Anything? ?

We purchased a Broilmaster NG Grill in January. Said it’d be delivered in 4-6 weeks… then June, and now October. Purchased a La-Z-Boy sectional in May… similar evolving schedule, and now early 2022. Both made in the USA. Neither paid in full, just down payments. Not complaining as I know that...

    You Snooze, You Lose ??

Have you ever waited to purchase a pipe, tobacco, or an accessory and it sold? Maybe you were waiting for a sale, discount, or you simply didn’t checkout with items in a cart. This has happened to me twice in two weeks on a Peterson Harp and Spigot… even the pipe cleaners sold out?

    Amazing Sightseeing Experiences ✈️????

There’s a recent thread about the St. Louis Arch, which I thought was OK. The Empire State Building was better. Niagara Falls, even better… particularly on the Canadian side. I’ve visited White Sands, Alcatraz, Cape Canaveral (space shuttle launch), Graceland, Chichen Itza, plus many, many other...

“I Will Not be a Party to this BS”

I almost spit my coffee out. I found this article pretty funny. Not selling out for “huge, huge amount of money” solely for spite, priceless bdw https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/roger-waters-rejects-facebook-offer-another-brick-in-the-wall-1183773/

    Famous Pipe Smokers’ Collection

I know that there have been other threads dedicated to famous pipe smokers, but I recently stumbled upon this link that I thought was pretty cool: Famous Pipe Smokers - https://pin.it/7hCcPoc

    Savinelli... Adapter Within An Adapter?

I finally got around to smoking my new Savinelli 607 Trevi. When removing the 6mm adapter another piece came out of the stem. It has glue residue on it. Is this suppose to be removable... possibly a 9mm adapter? I have several Savinelli pipe and this is the first time that this has happen. Thanks

    Bentley... Cool Looking Pipes?

This is the second time that I’ve seen these Bentley pipes for sale. Appearance is subjective, but I find that the shapes and lines of these pipes to be pretty cool; and a good representation of their cars ?

New Savinelli... With A Few Differences ?

I just purchased this new Savinelli Trevi 607. I have/had other Trevi’s, but always liked the size of the 607 w/the saddle stem. Two things I noticed when opening the box: 1) the bowl wasn’t coated, and 2) there were no Balsa wood filters. Neither matter to me, but was curious as it’s the first...

New Peterson At SmokingPipes Europe ?

I’ve been looking for a new Peterson Cara XL90 w/the “P” inlay on the stem. I found it at Smoking Pipes EU, but was hesitant when reading a thread on here regarding shipping to the US. Well, I’m happy to say that it arrived at my doorstep in 9 days. It would’ve been sooner if it didn’t bounce...

    Cheap Bastard ?

I thought that this was funny when I first saw it. I’ve heard of Fat Bastard, but not cheap... Evidently legitimate: “Alberto Bonfiglioli has crafted a bent Dublin, with an amusing moniker, "Cheap Bastard," comprised of a hearty, robust bowl in an oval shape set to a low, angled transition.”

    Peterson Stem Branding

I’ve noticed that Peterson uses different techniques in branding their stems. Some appear to be inlayed (top) and others are engraved and painted (bottom). I have a several of the latter, but none of the former. It would seem that the inlay would be more durable... or perhaps it only appears...

    Pipe Smoking Mishaps

My at home attire is exclusively a hoodie and lounging pants, more or less modeling the Big Lebowski, which my family jokes about. Well, this evening my dog jumped up on me while finishing some overly dry holiday blend causing several embers to escape and land on my favorite loungewear resulting...

    Grills?

My stainless steel natural gas Ducane is on its last leg. It lasted 17 years. We grill all year, even in the snow, so it has been durable w/very little maintenance. I’m looking to replace it with a Broilmaster P3XFN, w/stainless steel (SS) patio base, SS shelves, and side burner. Anybody have...

    Lighter, Match... Both?

Just got this little stocking stuffer from the wife. Evidently it goes by several names, including permanent match, immortal lighter, forever match, etc. I prefer my Zippos, but it’s a nice little trinket that actually works.
