Should I jump on Esucudo at $6.75 a tin?

    That is hilarious, trailboss :D

Should I jump on Esucudo at $6.75 a tin?

To me, DLN is sweeter with less tart and spice than Escudo. Both are great in their own way. I'd be hard pressed to pick one over the though. Well, unless like this situation occurs, and Escudo is half the price of DLN.

Should I jump on Esucudo at $6.75 a tin?

Got my ten Escudo tins. Good deal there! Added two Black Shag tins, one Molto Dolche, one Gaslight, and two oz of Old Joe Krantz for the free shipping. I'm going to be looking forward to this, hehe. Rather curious to see how the Old Joe Krantz performs in my Boswell jumbo. Chamber is an inch...

    My First Pipe Made

That is truely amazing, right there, Cosmic. Havn't seen anything like that before. Enjoy it! The green cumberland stem is great - wish we saw more of that going on in pipe manufactoring. Kind of suprising that Peterson doesn't utilize it at least...

    Primitive Pipe Challenge

Good luck! Avoid a trip to the ER though - heh. Take your time and be careful.

    Primitive Pipe Challenge

I've thought of doing this, using a long block of wood - no rubber stem, just one solid piece of wood... ... maybe someday. Corncobs are pretty darn convenient. Would make quite the heirloom though. Now, do I go about finding a suitable long block of wood and join you... Hmmph.

    Trouble Relaxing

I'm a fan of meditation, fun exercise, eating somewhat healthy, and drinking more water than I think I need to. Not that I always manage to do all of this, but man, if you get into the habit of it all.. sure does help, at least for me. I think doing a breath meditation while pipe smoking has a...

There's Something To Be Said About Waking Up Earlier...

On the flip side, I work the graveyard shift. When I get home, it's just so nice in the morning, that I tend to have trouble going to sleep. Or maybe it is the glory of whaddaya call it... ... sunshine? Wee morning hours are tough to beat, for sure.

    Stone pipe

Depends on what you want out of it. For regular casual smoking, this probably isn't what you want. Good luck mowing the grass while puffing on it... If you have the opportunity and the desire to learn about how Native American ceremoniously used their pipes, I would highly recommend looking into...

The Sweetest Tobacco You Ever Had?

I'm down to the occasional cigarette and occasional use of an e-cig, moreso pipes now. One thing that may help you, coming from cigarettes, is to add a punch of an ultra high nicotine tobacco to whatever you put in your pipe. Maybe a pinch of Five Brothers into a bowl's worth of Molto Dolche, or...

***What Are You Smoking *** (June 2014)

Dunhill De Luxe Navy Rolls in my Baki meerschaum. This has become a favorite combination.

    Clay Pipes-Worthwhile?

It depends on how you go about your pipe smoking, I think. They are somewhat fragile and brittle, and the mouthpiece isn't as comfortable as a briar stem would be (or a Missouri Meerschaum corncob stem - being more rounded and uneasy to clench in any fashion. So, unlike a MM cob, I couldn't...

Documentary: Addicted to Pleasure - Tobacco

Suggestions for a Working Man's Lunch?

Lots of great advice on here already... I'd definetly add fruit and vegetables - I normally bring an apple (Fuji apples are amazing), an orange (they have those smaller ones that are seedless and peel easy), and baby carrots. The baby carrots are cheap, taste good, and may help keep his eyesight...

    Building A Fire Pit Area
