Any Meerschaum Pipe Case Makers in The U.S?

I thought it wouldn't bother me as much, as my new meer came with a nice leather bag. However I'm really starting to wish it had a hard case for it. Is there anyone in the U.S. that makes cases for meers? I could do something like a sunglasses case, or even just keep it in a leather...

Didimauw's One Meer for One Year Redemption. 12/15/2022

As many of you know, I failed in my first attempt. Too many different variables and excuses to list. This time should go much differently. I have a lot more experience with meers, and they are all I've been smoking for the past 3 or 4 months at this point. At the end of my last thread I had...

Show off Your Meerschaum Claws Here!

Figured we should have a thread grouping them all together...for the sake of the forum. And maybe I'm itching for one really bad, and this may help prevent me from buying another meer. 🙄

    The Meers wont Stop.

Another one from Mustafa at AstasMeerschaum pipes. I contacted him about a small chip in the button of my commission I had him make. It appeared after 3 smokes. After a few messages back and forth, He told me that the stem was made out of Polyester, and they can get damaged easily. He agreed to...

    New Commission Heading My Way.

And I didn't even plan on it. Asked the seller if he had any straight billiards, as I don't have one in a meer yet. (There is an obvious language barrier, but he does pretty well with his English.) I gave him the specs I was looking for at the price I was willing to spend and he said "yes of...

    My Cheap No-name Meer

Bought it from MeerschaumMarket a few months ago. I smoked it for 30 bowls straight, and noticed its coloring strangely. I don't want to assume it's translucent, but I haven't seen "coloring" like this. Right at the connection between stem and shank, is see through. But it looks like it was...

Show Off Your Lee Pipes Here!

Because well, it had to be done. I don't have any, but I know @Briar Lee does! Let's see em everybody.

    My SRV Meerschaum.

I got this a few months ago, and only have smoked it 3 or 4 times. There's no markings on it at all, stem or shank. However there is what looks like is written in pencil "84" on the "face" of the shank. Is there any significance to these two numbers?

    C&D Mocha Anyone??

Being a huge fan of everything chocolate, I bought a couple different blends a few months back. Last night I finally had a hankering for some chocolate, so I opened this tin. Oh my....I know it's been a while since I've had an aromatic tobacco but boy... This blend is as wet as it gets. I...

    Rossi Sera

Just received my Rossi Sera yesterday from SPC. Ordered it Thursday, Got it Monday. And this was during Easter mind you. Incredible shipping time as always. Anyways onto the pipe. I love my 8202 Rossi apple. It has always been a workhorse smoker for me. But I haven't really cared for many of...

Everybody, Please have a Smoke for My Buddy Kane!

We put our dog Kane down today. He was going to be 16. Had him since 2009. He loved hanging with me while I had my pipe. RIP Kane. He was the goodest boi.

This is Why they Call it "Missouri Meerschaum".

Bought a new legend that arrived today. Not sure what the plan is with it quite yet. But figured I'd take some comparison shots of a brand new one, vs one that I've had for over 8 years. I just love how they color throughout the years.

    Waukesha Wisconsin Christmas Parade

My 9 year old daughter Lydia is a baton twirler. A hard to come by sport in my area. It's her favorite thing to do, and she is fantastic at it. Tonight she was performing in the Waukesha Christmas parade. A half hour into standing in the bitter cold, we notice there's a long LONG gap in...

    My New Punto Oro Gold.

Arrived today! I used up the last of my crypto to pay for it. I must say, I'm in awe. Beautiful pipe. Very light, and just the size I've been looking for. No pits or fills anywhere of course, it's drilled spot on and it has a hand cut acrylic stem. It is a filtered pipe, which I don't mind at...

    Sophie Is Getting Big!

I posted a thread when we got our new Ball Python, who we named Sophie. Our daughter wanted one, so we surprised her for her birthday. 3 years ago. And a few days ago. It's funny too. A few years ago we had to look for a short term rental. We had to answer all their questions about pets...

    Does Anyone Save Pictures?

Any pipes I get, I take pictures of. Either before and after of a restore, or just when I buy new ones. I like to see how they change after time, scars and all. I've been saving the pictures on a flash drive. I also have tobacciana articles saved, and the podcasts here too. Just filled my 64 gig...

    Richards Sheffield Pipe Knife Find

Went to a huge flea market today and found a nice pipe knife. I've owned two Richard Sheffield pipe knives before. One in plain stainless steel and one with blue plastic scales. Both have gone missing in years gone by. They have been my favorite tools I've owned but I couldn't justify buying yet...

    Stories of Past Pipe Smokers.

I've been wanting to start a new thread about past pipe smokers and their smoking routines, and stories you have or heard in general. Hearing about @mso489 s dad smoking granger for 50 years, is exactly the kind of thing I want to hear about. What pipe smoking stories do you have? Family...

    My Tinsky Commission.

I had a thread about this pipe but I never really talked much about it, or had many pictures. It was more just a silly thread. After several emails, and a handfull of days, I received the exact pipe I was looking for. I wasn't smoking it because I was working towards failure on my Meer for a...

Watch Out or Watch on? Pt 2.

We had a watch thread going a few years back from @cosmicfolklore that got closed due to the one year mark. So I'm bringing it back due to my watch obsession. A Timex Weekender with a Barton leather quick release strap. My first watch. My citizen eco drive, with the nato strap that my Timex...
