    They have a few on display here at Arlington Pipe and Cigar. I bought one of the 2014 a few years back and it was like you say - wrapped in thin cellophane and dry as a bone.

    It wouldn't be that hard to wire one of those candle lamp/night light bulbs into a cob. Not quite as sleek, but definitely a pipe shaped light. Buy a whole bag of Missouri Meerschaum seconds and make an antler chandelier style pipe lamp!

    JJ Fox's bulk blends are mainly from Gawith and Germaine's. They're having the same trouble keeping them in stock that the rest of us are, despite surely being a very old of not original account.

    Yeah. It's a shame. I really like them, but they just weren't designed or made with repair in mind. Ronson, ST Dupont, and the like were, tho. If that helps narrow down your search.
