    MAD AS HELL

Maybe they're worried that you'll try to free-base the pesticides or something. Don't they contain high doses of nicotine?

    Shape of hot dogs

Eventually we're gonna wind up like the movie Idiocracy. Frakin hippies.

    Mac Baren\'s Honey & Chocolate

Will have to try this. Think I have just about everything else that MacB makes. hehe

    MAD AS HELL

Sorry to hear it, Sap. Frakin hippies.

    Cleaning Meerschaums

Meers and cobs for the win. Only things I seem to smoke these days. Cool smoke, good flavor from the tobac, and no hassles. Also, far cheaper for a good meer than for a good briar.

    Nosewarmers

But to say on topic, I'm finding that I'm enjoying a bent pipe a bit more these days, only the smoke tends to get in my eyes, but the "slipstream" of smoke is nice in the nose. Adds to the experience well. But the bit in the eyes vexes me. Don't have that issue with my straights. Wonder if...

    Nosewarmers

*ahem* Concerning members of the fairer sex. I figured out what you meant, but pipes weren't my first thought. ;)

    Nosewarmers

Oh! Pipes. I was totally misreading that subject line. As you were.

    different strokes for different folks

I'll add my voice to Kevin's. I like Mac Baren blends quiet a bit, but most of their non-english blends do seem to have a comonality in flavor profiles. Reminds me of honey. I wonder if you could trace it back to a single source for their tobacco, meaning that they use the same variety of...

I like small ones (pipes, that is)

That looks to be about the size of my meer. I too tend to prefer the smaller pipes. Just seem easier to manage or sqeeze in.

How Many Times a day do you smoke?

That sounds outstanding, Bruce! Usually average about 3 to 4 bowls a week here, I guess. Not always a lot of time to slow down and properly enjoy one.

January 2010 - What are you smoking?

Guess you had best let the missus read this thread, Phil. She'll hook you up again. ;)

Pimp Your Corncob with a Cool Stem

This couldn't have come at a better time. I was just going through my collection of cobs checking steps. Had to toss two away due to a poor bend. Figured I'd keep the bowls and shanks in case I had a burn out or something. Now I can get new stems!!!! These kids have their hippy-dippy weed...

    New tobacco pipe smoker

I guess I'm of a different school of thought. When I was quitting cigs and taking up the pipe, I was looking for something that tasted nothing even remotely like a cig. I knew what those were like. Time to try something new! What would you recommend to someone in that case? I seem to...

    mac baren

The flavor always reminds me of grapefruit for some reason. Not sure why. It smells like honey and plums in the tin. Room note is sweetish, probably more fruity than nutty. There's a good bit of Virginia in there. I think that either Kevin or Bob did a review of this a while back...

The DC Council Wants to Ban OUTDOOR Smoking

Its easier for them to blame someone else than to take a hard look at themselves, man-up and accept some personal responsibility.

And now for something completely different

I think this might be like heroine or meth, Kevin. Sure, I haven't tried it, but I'm also pretty sure I don't want to..... Science, she is a cruel mistress. And so the experiment begins.

And now for something completely different

A couple of years ago, my step dad was down visiting. He's been a pipe smoker for a long time, learned from his grandfather. In watching him empty and fill his pipe, I noticed something I'd never seen nor ever heard of. He doesn't empty his pipe all of the way. When he breaks in a new pipe...
