    Chewing Plugs?

hello friends. Anyone have any experience with cutting a plug / rope and chewing it like other smokeless tobaccos? I have been experimenting with it and find it incredibly satisfying. Now looking for maybe sweeter plugs other than SG brown boogie.??

Pipe Tobacco Roll Your Own Cigarettes

Just my late two cents, I found the beauty of pipe tobacco alluring in cig form. I love my pipes but sometimes work conditions demand a more cig environment if you will...... I love rolling some of my praiszed tobacco into a cig. Cigs get a terrible rep and as long as it’s premium tobacco and...

    The Ugly Truth

Your all are correct. It is not a sad fact but a welcoming fact that the pipe snob in me died a little more.

    The Ugly Truth

So like many of you I have spent a few years aquiring different pipes, from estates to artisans I have built up a modest little collection. With pipes ranging into the hundreds of dollars I have come to the sad fact that, one of my $14 dollar cobbs is by far one of the best smokers in the group...

    Interesting Packing Technique

My grandfather demonstrated this packing method to me when I was 15 starting out pipe smoking. The only difference is he would swirl the pipe in the jar or bag that was full of tobacco.

    What Started the Obsession?

Like most, started with memories of my grandfather. The smell, the fascination with the pipe and smoke. It wasn't until my first bowl of Golden Slice in a nice briar that I felt the obsession take hold. That was 8 years ago.

    Tabac Manil: Reserve du Patron

A few more bowls down, Ive come to the conclusion that semios doesn't hit my palate quite right. If any of you semois lovers wanna trade for something, send me a PM!

    Tabac Manil: Reserve du Patron

Mso, I do primarily smoke lats and Virginias. As with the Petite Robin, I have found its moisture content very acceptable. Pack it tight, and it will treat you right. I appreciate your input.

    Tabac Manil: Reserve du Patron

Well that is good to know. I will continue to smoke it as it arrived. Coming from the cigar hobby, I am familiar with the bold taste, but even cigars are kept at that optimal humidity to prevent drying out.

Ted is absolutely an unsung hero, and a personal inspiration to me. Great interview Kevin!

    Tabac Manil: Reserve du Patron

I ventured into the world of semois tobacco. While the strength is right up my alley, I feel the taste is laking due to the tobacco being so dry upon receiving the package. Anyone else experience this problem with semois blends? I have never felt a tobacco with such little moisture content...

Clean Your Briar Pipes the "New Way".

I simply abide by the drinking alcohol rule. Pour you a glass of some high proof, dip a couple of cleaners in, and the rest if for my enjoyment.

    Resting Your Pipe

I second all the opinions of not resting a pipe for multiple days. Smoke two bowls in the morning, the pipe will be fine to smoke in the evening.
