My wife does a Chuck Roast with one packet of brown gravy and one packet of ranch (the powder) with a cup of water. Simmer on low for 8 hours or so then add potatoes and carrots for the last hour. The Meer Goes Pop
My brother bought a Meer off of eBay, very nice looking bearded man. The pipe smoked fine for the first 3 bowls then cracked/broke at the shank during another smoke. My guess is it was pressed meerschaum and not a solid block, and he probably smoked too fast and made that bowl hotter than Hades...- d4k23

New, Cheap "ST Dupont"
I got one a couple days ago as well. I did have a weird hiccup today as I was striking the wheel, but I think I bumped it wrong. Seemed to move out of place, but corrected after a few backward spins.
