Don't know that that is true. I have a 1990 SH and quite a few from the past 5-6 years and the dimensions seem consistent over the years. Of course, there had been a SH juniors line which featured smaller SH pipes.
Oriental Silk had been a regular for me for quite some time til I bought it around 6 months ago and it tasted radically different and not in a good way. So, stopped buying it til quite recently. This recent batch tastes like it used to for me which is great. :)
Can't help on places to go as I've never had the opportunity to go. But, when you get up to Portrush, you'll be near where my paternal family lived in Ballintoy parish prior to heading over here.
Tempted to put this in the TAD thread, though, of course, it's a different kind of TAD. In addition to my standard order of Scottish breakfast tea today, got a hankering for Russian caravan blend tea. so, ordered that, too.
If you're talking vices then it's tobacco, wine, whisky, vodka, and unhealthy food. As to the latter, thank God for some very effective cholesterol meds I take. :)
I smoke 4 times daily and like a different pipe for each smoke over the course of a week. So, that would imply a 28 pipe collection. I probably own nearly 3 times that many pipes but largely just smoke my favorites which comprise the 28.
Been lovin' on OJK for a while now along with occasional Haunted Bookshop. Starting to get burley fatigue. That plus having an oriental craving leads me to all all Virginia blend buy with a half-pound each of Bayou Morning and another stab at Oriental Silk.
