    How Do You Cut Yours?

    Depends on the ring gauge and what the cigar is. Small things like a petit corona gets a punch. Anything box pressed is either a punch or a V. Anything with a tapered end gets a guillotine. This summer though I've been using a V 95% of the time.

    Solani Aged Burley Flake in a Comoy Sunrise squat bulldog. I finally get it. Finally found the right combo of pipe/packing/cadence. It's like a bowl full of spicy Nutella. Like MacBarren Burley flake on steroids, and on my empty stomach it got a bit of a nic punch too!

    Yup, it's a sun-grown. Terrible wavy burn and the one pictured did nothing but tunnel, the wrapper just refused to burn. What a shame.

    Fuente Queen B. I hate to say it, since I really like Fuente in general, but I've had several of these and they've all been awful. Hopefully I just got a bad batch. The burn has been consistently so bad that it ruins the flavor. Oh well, I'll buy a few more before I give up on them.

    Tatuaje 10th Anniversary Bon Chasseur. I forgot how good these are! Woody, earthy, brown sugar, and creamy coffee all the way down. Flawless burn.

    Grilled some fresh zucchini from the garden along with a Dorado filet, everyone else seems to call it Mahi, anyway, got to love summer grilling! Now I'm smoking some G&H Rum Flake in a MM Country Gent. It's really shocking how well the G&H flakes I have are aging. This stuff is fantastic.
