Luxury Bullseye Flake Prepped Perfectly in Less Than 30 Seconds (Pictoral)

Nice, although I prefer to treat all my medallion type blends as a round flake. I just rub and press them with my fingers untill I make a ball with good packing and place it in my chamber. Requires a few more tamps after firing but I find them more tastefull.

    Silver Spigot Polishing

Toothpaste works almost Everytime bit it will get tarnish again really quickly if not use something more to seal

    Silver Spigot Polishing

I wouldn't use anything that involves motor. Jeweller's cloth is a good solution if tarnish is not deep purple/blue. A little bottle of Silvo -these are sold on super markets as 100ml polishes for cutlery here in Greece- would make the job for deeper tarnish. A good wipe and you are ready.

Are You Purchasing More Or Less Tobacco Currently?

The past 2 years I buy lesss tobacco. I used to smoke a lot more. Now with 1-2 tins/month I buy around 30 tins each time I visit US so I can cellar some too.

    Flake. Just The Best.

I'm more of a flake smoker myself. I like that retains the perfect moisture longer in the tin. For me smoking around 2-3 tins per month is important so I can have 4-6 blends opened. Also I like smaller bowls and I control the way I fill them differently, so I adjust my flake pressing depending...

What Is The Best Way To Clean And Sanitize An Estate Pipe

I never use any kind of chlorine/bleach in anything I will put in my mouth. Also it oxidizing stems. I use only 99 alcohol bought from pharmacy store. It really expensive but it kills everything. Depending on the condition of the pipe I adjust how I use it. Salt and alcohol 3 times at least is...

    2 Mystery Pipes, Same Maker

That's an interesting mystery. I doubt that they are production seconds. They seem well made.

    BaccyFlap Vs. FlapJack

Baccyflap, not because it's nostalgic. Firstly it get me really excited to see those stuff quality. The chosen material especially the brown "birdseye" is a piece of art on it's own. The deep boardeux is also good but a bit outdated and unicolored. It doesn't have a big rabbit logo, ruining...

    1948 Dunhill "O" F/T Bulldog --- EXCELLENT Blast (restore & re-stem)

Definitely the most iconic squat bulldog shape. Am I the only one that can see the natural cracks on the stem that made this piece a shell? Lovely restoration, not only on replacing stem but also on the clean look of the finish

1923 Dunhill Shape "24" Bulldog (Restore and Re-stem)

That's an excellent stem and restore George. And what a finding, I used to have a 46 bulldog, which was pretty small size for Dunhill

The Difference in Colour of Aged Briar

Nope Todd, but I live in place where briar grows and before I end up buying stuff I went to try harvest my own. I have even make pipes from unboiled briar and boiled after rough shaping.

Could High Line Pipes Go Down Big Time

I don't believe that the virus will affect pipe economy that much. I mean a guy who spends 15.000 on Teddy's signature or 4.000 on Jess bamboo is not going to be affected. Maybe even a small 10-15% drop will make him but more as a bargain actually. I live in Greece with almost 10 years of...

Anyone Else Not A Fan Of The P-Lip

I'm a huge NOT fan. It's chunky, harder to clean, and impossible to redrill if ever needed.

    Self-Isolation Restorations - 1919 BBB

That's an amazing finding and we'll executed restoration. I love those early 1900's compact shapes. Most pipes of the era were like this until the prince shape came and changed the game

The Difference in Colour of Aged Briar

While time does has a part in briar color, I find that the most important factor is the place of origin in terms of soil and briar mill processing. I can make pretty deep brown briar if I boil it on same pot and water with other 2-3 batches
