    1883 Yellowstone prequel

While there were a few puzzling elements that took me out of the show, I was very surprised how much I enjoyed 1883. I really didn't care for the ending, but then again it's just a television show. This said, I've heard the sequel to this show isn't very good. But tastes vary.

***What Are You Smoking, July 2023?***

Update after my second Maltese Falcon bowl: I find this blend compellingly tasty and complex. I get hints of chocolate, ginger, dark polished leather, rye bread, with alternating sweet and sour flavors lingering through the experience. Very smooth, no tongue bite, and a pleasant aftertaste...

***What Are You Smoking, July 2023?***

Just picked up my first tin of Maltese Falcon from the Cargo Hold, here in Washington. Remarkable piping experience!

    Cargo Hold in Washington State

Just visited the Cargo Hold a few days ago. Fantastic place. I could stay all day inside that shop, if I wasn't married. Purchased a tin of Maltese Falcon. Never piped it until yesterday, and I'll tell you what, it was a highlight. Remarkable, tasty blend. Again, if you can make it to Cargo...

    Disappointed with EMP

I appreciate EMP for the taste and complexity, which forms a nice bookend to Nightcap. Sometimes I throw War Horse Green in the middle and noticed they sit well together. Certainly, as others have said, tobaccos grow on you. Or they don't. Several weeks ago, I tried MM965. Everybody raved. But...

    Thank You, Community

A big, heartfelt thank you to this community. I left piping twenty years ago. It was among my favorite hobbies outside writing and travel. When I returned after a long hiatus, after an extremely difficult past year, life took on a much different note. Piping has helped me relax with great...

War Horse Bar is a winner!

War Horse Green, for some reason, reminds me of childhood and visiting Woolworth's with my mother in New York. Was it the same aisle as mothballs that I associate with old memories, or my Italian grandfather warming himself with anisette during a game of cards with my father? Whatever the...
