Looking for a New Knife
I was going to say Civivi. Low cost, good materials, they feel good in my hand - most cheap knives don’t, they have a little heft and a lil snap when you throw the blade out. Good choice of grip colors and blade shapes in the casual knife user size range.- Egg Shen

STG closes Mac Baren and Sutliff
I’m pretty sure my cellar has every MB tinned offering except possibly Solent. It’s a bummer how this will stifle the boutique blenders but I’m stocked on them too. Set up a still life and draw it. Drawing a logo, or from a picture is fine but using your brain to transcribe 3d to 2d is the fun part. Try drawing the whole image without removing your pencil from the paper- Egg Shen

I smoke all shapes and sizes, torpedoes being a favorite. I like ring gauges in the high 40s to low 50s, from a comfort standpoint, though they say you can pack more flavor into a big cigar than a thin one.- Egg Shen

A Question About Tall Bowls, Help Wanted
i mainly only use mine camping because I can sit there for two hours and smoke through the entire bowl. It’s not practical for my everyday use, but I wasn’t considering these things at the time of purchase. I now know better.- Egg Shen

A Question About Tall Bowls, Help Wanted
I have one of the really tall cobs. My lessons learned include: Smoke shag, or lighter fare. If you don’t, prepare for relights. This is where the hemp twine excels. You can reach down in there with it and light specific spots. Tallboys clench poorly too. I can’t recommend tall pipes...- Egg Shen
