How Do You Refill Clippers So That They Light Well?

No, but I want to ask you about this. The Discount Tobacco store sold the "King" butane canisters for refilling lighters. Would either standard Clippers and Butane refill canisters normally be made to fit with the other? I would expect so. Are you normally supposed to use an adapter to fill a...

How Do You Refill Clippers So That They Light Well?

Dave, The reasons why I like Clippers are that they are refillable, the lighter button doesn't hurt my thumb, and the circle bottom doubles as a tamper. I like BICs with chimneys, but I run through them quickly because they aren't refillable. Zippo lighter wheels sometimes scrape or welt my...

How Do You Refill Clippers So That They Light Well?

A friend gave me a classic-style blue Clipper, and a long-tailed yellow button-switch Clipper. I bought a "King" brand Butane fuel canister. I like to use the Clippers' bottoms as tampers, and this doesn't look like it affects the refill holes. When the Clippers' flames got low or stopped...

    Pipe Brand Identification Help

Can you post a full photo of the pipe? Can you post the rest of the area where the 8s are? It looks like it shows three 8s, but part of an 8 is outside the photo are and it looks like there could be more symbols.

Which Are the Most Incenselike Blends? ⚗️⛪🪔🥢💭

Moroccan Bazaar's tin note matched its smoke smell, taste, and aftertaste for me. But its tin note was slightly better. A local SC B&M cigar lounge has a great sweet smelling generic bulk blend called "Toasted Cavendish". It smells like a Dark Cavendish version of CRB Moon. An assertive cigar...

    Should I Paint Cutter?

Nice. Over the years I've seen wrought iron equipment in Pennsylvania that looks like it's antique and solid quality and in good condition. All the best.

    Should I Paint Cutter?

You don't paint it, since it's metal. It looks neat. What country or state is it from?

    Your Most Challenging Blend

OK. Uncased and little-aged blends are going to be more likely to have the rough harshness effect that I get from Carter Hall and Cherokee Blue, I expect. This is why I think Cherokee Black is rated so well- its longer aging and processing.

    Your Most Challenging Blend

My estimated casualty count on 1 bowl of unrubbed FVF Plug was: - The remainder of my box of SWAN matches - My Djeep lighter - 20 Diamond kitchen matches - A sore thumb

    Your Most Challenging Blend

I diced FVF Plug into tiny pieces that looked like they would burn OK. I didn't rub them out with my fingers and only was told later that you need to do that. I was able to light the blend in my pipe, but it was so hard to keep lit that I used up my remaining matches in my SWAN match box, along...

    Your Most Challenging Blend

What do you think are the: Roughest blends: Cherokee Red and Carter Hall? Goopyest: Queen Anne's Revenge? Stinkiest: Bacon Old Fashioned? Adverse Chemical: Exotic Orange/Exotic Passion? (I hear some count it as like potpourri) Soapyest: Northwoods? (This is just some people's perceptions of...

    Your Most Challenging Blend

Here's what stuck out at me from Jim's Review: The closest blend that I had to a "horseradish-like" one for me was Maltese Falcon that includes ginger. It left a spicey ginger smell that was too spicey for me, and that I didn't like very much, but I could see other people liking. Other than...

Codger Blend as a Daily Smoke

Prince Albert and SWR would work for me as regular daily blends. Good price, I like the flavor, SWR is delicate and PA is soft great. They are very classic. I never had Half and Half, but it sounds decent.

    Your Most Challenging Blend

Sig, I never had it, so I can only make some informed guesses. Jim Inks gives some hints of challenging qualities in the blend that could be your issue: https://www.tobaccoreviews.com/blend/1977/cornell-diehl-bayou-morning/ The Nicotine level is on the medium-strong side that would increase...

    Your Most Challenging Blend

Dear Sable Brush, I believe that the likely reason is that it hasn't been processed enough to make it soft enough to avoid harshness. Cherokee Black (Turkish) RYO is counted as a good blend even by normal pipe blend standards. It rated as good as comparable normal pipe blends like Kendal's and...

    Your Most Challenging Blend

Piping Abe, I ordered Ready Rub MATCH from 4Noggins in 1 oz bulk form. They sent it to me in a plastic bag. I opened the mail package and it smelled like delicious cocoa puffs. I kept the plastic bag in the open mail package in my drawer for a few months. After a while the cocoa smell...

    Your Most Challenging Blend

Sablebrush, Generally I don't inhale even cigarettes. But since "Cherokee" Red, Blue, and Silver are RYOs, cigarette smokers typically inhale them. Reviewers complain that they are harsh, so I tried inhaling Cherokee Blue (the "Light" version of Cherokee), and I found it harsh on the lungs...

    Your Most Challenging Blend

I expect that I would like Erinmore Mixture because I liked Erinmore Flake and Royal Yacht fine. I don't think I would like Haunted Bookshop or Bacon Old Fashioned because I don't like most Cherokee RYOs or straight Latakia. What's people's complaint about OJK?

Which Are the Most Incenselike Blends? ⚗️⛪🪔🥢💭

Sigmund, It's up to you how you want to judge the issue. Out of 10 blends on the list without specifically "incense" flavoring, 1 (Margate) was alot like incense, 3 were marginally like incense, and the other 6 were not like incense for me. So there is no demand that you have to find a big...
