    I do not see any gain in pairing. I just see a loss in flavors from both sides. If you need tobacco to appreciate your wine, you should change your wine. Also works the other way round

    And in Belgium, Netherland, Germany. It is even better in these countries, because you pay the price on the tax band applied on the tin when it was manufactured. If you’re lucky, you still find old full cigar boxes for the actual price of a single stick!

    EU is not a country, so not really. Tobacco shipping is still allowed in some EU countries, every country has its own law. Think of it as federal vs state law.

    No it is illegal. And tobacconists will not take the risk of doing it, because if caught they loose their job. It's a no go, and respect them by not even asking to do it.

    Even in Paris or in large cities you don’t have access to that many « quality » blends. According to Leonard W. France is a market as large as Germany, but I guess it is mostly because of the old generation smoking codger blends (made by Mac Bran/STG)

    In my opinion no, style is not a major factor, especially if you rub out your tobacco. However, a tobacco may smoke better in a pipe than in another pipe, regarless of shape.

    No country will beat the US or/and Germany. You probably have 95% of the blends available in one or the other, and both sale online . Imho no point searching elsewhere, except if you are after a very particular blend (in this case I would consider UK). Spain used to be pretty cheap in Europe...
