    Jim's C&D Warped: Saint Espresso 2024 Review.

I bought some last year and I enjoy it once in a while to change things up.

    Woke Boxing

I can’t believe they haven’t shut this post down 🤣

    Woke Boxing

We can agree to disagree. I believe that if the trans community wasn’t shoving the idea that they get to choose what gender thay are is definitely muddying the waters. Especially when it comes to sports and choosing what restroom you use. If it wasn’t for that I think people would be more open...

    Woke Boxing

The problem is that the trans community has made such a mockery of the people who actually have this medical condition. It just muddies the waters, confuses people and makes them reluctant to accept that there can be a grey area. I would think that people who truly have this medical condition...

Watch Out or Watch on? Pt 2.

Todays pick. I wear my watches often so it’s hard to keep them in great condition without scratches, but I think it still looks good. This is my only auto winding watch. The only bad thing is if I don’t wear it every other day I need to do a quick wind and reset

    Blind Tasting: Red Virginia

I was going to buy some of the HU Tobacco My Red Fox. But I’m not able to find any. Anyone have any leads?

    Blind Tasting: Red Virginia

If number 6 is Stratford then I’ll be opening the only tin I have bought and buying more for the cellar 😀

    Blind Tasting: Red Virginia

I just went back and read the sample 6 comments as I held off until I tried it. I see we may have had a similar experience. It was good stuff.

    Blind Tasting: Red Virginia

Sample 6 Tin notes, I used to bale hay and the smell of this reminds me of working in the hay mow. There is a slight fermentation going on with undertones of fig. This one is a bit sticky to the touch so I dried it for 15-20 min. The taste on this is great. It’s sweet with some baked bread and...

    Blind Tasting: Red Virginia

Sample 5 Tin notes. Ketchup is all I smell on this one. Taste of baked breads and hey. The initial flavor comes strong but quickly dissipates for me. There is a little bit of sweetness that hangs around. 3 out of 4 stars. Ranking so far from favorite to least 4,2,1,5,3

    Insert for Excessively Wide Bowl?

Interesting. For me it’s the opposite. Anything over a 0.8 diameter seems to be less flavor than I get out of my smaller ones.

    Things I Found Thrifting

my wife and I had a good weekend visiting one of our local antique shops. We don’t often find things that we feel are scores but this time we did. First up was the lighter that was still in its original box. I paid $10 for it. It works like a charm. Second was this leather jacket. It came with...

    Smoking, Grilling, and BBQ

I guess this explains why I don’t enjoy most BBQ joint food. I get it, the masses love it, but then again, I don’t think the masses have had true slow-cooked BBQ, so it’s hard for them to compare. It’s just like smoking a pipe and picking a tobacco. It’s all subjective. I have to say 4 hours...

    Blind Tasting: Red Virginia

Sample 4 Tin notes. The plums and stewed fruit is strong with this one along with a mild barnyard sent. Taste of stewed fruit, gram crackers and slight tart. The sweetness is higher than the first 3 for me. I’m enjoying this one a lot. 4 out of 4 stars. So far I’m ranking from favorite to least...

    Blind Tasting: Red Virginia

Sample 2 Tin notes. Dark cherries, smoke essence with a small amount of vinegar. Taste of smoke, dark cherries and a little sweetness . 3.5 out of 4 star. Sample 3 Tin notes. Hay and a light stewed fruit. Taste, the stewed fruit comes through more than the smell but there is a brightness...

    Ear Buds, IEM..

I used to have a pair of Sure E5 IEM that I used when mixing monitors for bands that use IEM. I used them to listen to music once in a while and they were amazing. These we made around 2000. Now I just use a pair of Klipsh simi wireless ear buds with foam tips for listening to music while mowing...

    Blind Tasting: Red Virginia

My package came today. Let me just start out by saying that I’m horrible at describing taste and smells. I jumped right into sample 1. The smell of the package was of plumbs, raisins and some fermentation. It appears to have some age on it with crystals on the surface. The taste is full of...

    Who Chews?

I used to be an every day Skoal wintergreen long cut guy. I still use it on occasion. I keep a pouch each of Gatlinburlier peach and moonshine chew on hand and enjoy that once and awhile. I never have been able to swallow the juice so I use ON or Zyn nicotine pouches when I can’t spit or smoke.

Ken Byron Video Interview from August, 2023

I have only tried 3 of his blend and like them a lot. I would like to try more but the last 2 times I tried to order his website wouldn’t complete the order. I tried to reach out to him but he didn’t seem interested in fixing the problem.
