    Operation Iwan (Ries)

Thank you all for the update. I've been on an estate pipe kick. Scored a cased set of Lorenzo nib pipes from the 80's or 90's if I had to guess. I'd like to had more Italian Lorenzo and brebbia to my humble collection so that's why I asked if they still had the vast inventory of estate pipes.

I Know it's an old post but does is this still valid? Never knew they had thousands of pipes in inventory.

    Nimrod and Estate Lighter?

Good info. I would have guessed they copied zippo but apparently the opposite happened. Any info on the foreign lighters?

    Is this Stem Butterscotch?

I'm learning this quickly. I'm new here and to pipesmoking but am seeing the common point in alot of older threads lol. He has the clench of Grecian God.

    Nimrod and Estate Lighter?

Came across these lighters. Don't know anything about them but if anyone is familiar with them I'd appreciate a lesson. Also are flints similar to the modern pipe lighter? The nimrod lighters look like zippo derivatives so would I assume correctly zippo flints will work?

    Bone Stem Removal?

Probably just best to put it back on the shelf and admire it. I keep feeling guilty having these old antiques and not using them. I have plenty of other user pipes but I like to dream of using an antique lol.

    Is this Stem Butterscotch?

Is this the Butterscotch bakelite stem or just acrylic? It's a no name estate meer I got yesterday but it was NOS. Doesn't smoke bad but the side walls are a touch thin and the draft hole isn't perfectly lined up. Has a yellowish chalky look to it compared to the pure white ones I have bought.

    Haunted Bookshop???

I wanted to like this blend so badly for Matches860 but I can't do it. Sorry John?

    Haunted Bookshop???

This tin I just opened is like cigarette tobacco dry. It's only a may dated tin as well.

    Bone Stem Removal?

I have an antique meer with the screw in stem. It looks like it no longer indexes to the correct position and the collar has a epoxy showing. I'm sure someone tried a bad repair. My question is if you do the bone stem removal and go nylon push tenon is the old stem not usable now? Like can they...

I wanted to love this tobacco so much but alas I think it's awful on my palette at least.
