I second the 1931, Dark Burley and Morleys Best. C&D Burley Flake No 2 is very good, but I like No 3 and No 1 more. C&D Pegasus is a classic Burley blend IMO. Mac Baren Navy Flake is pretty good too.- ak2000

Recommendation for a Meer Repair Shop
The pipe is in good shape other than the stem being completely oxidized and a few minor bite marks. It's really more clean up/refurbish than repair.- ak2000

I stand corrected, forgot that 2W was okay on FRS. Had a lot of fun with family and friends using Realistic and Cobra CBs when I was a lad. I'm actually in the commercial/ industrial/Public Safety radio communications business for the past 25 or so years.- ak2000
