    Small is Beautiful ?

I have a small meerschaum that perfectly fits a rubbed out coin of Escudo. The smoke easily goes 45 minutes plus. To me that's pretty damn perfect.

***What Are You Smoking, June 2023?***

Keeping it "light" this morning with some Amphora Original. Such a simple, easygoing smoke.

    Best customer service smokingpipes.com

+1 and I will also say as a Canadian that they go out of their way to help you deal with border hassles as well.

    Selling Valuable Cellared Tobacco

Many years ago I acquired a scotch collection that had many bottles in it, with several of the same ones. I got tired of a few of them and sold off a few bottles. Not only have prices gone way up, but some of the malts I sold off are no longer available. To this day I regret it. Wasn't worth the...

Edward G Robinson blend 12oz tub

Generally speaking I find that OTC blends are fine in their pouches for quite a while several months to a year in my experience.

Edward G Robinson blend 12oz tub

No offense taken, that's exactly what I wanted to find out. And from the man himself, haha. Thank you!

Edward G Robinson blend 12oz tub

I've only bought this in the smaller tins. Looks like the 12oz tub is plastic... kinda the same thing that protein powder comes in. Is that correct? I'm going to assume that even if kept sealed, this isn't suitable for longer term (multi year) storage?

    Selling Valuable Cellared Tobacco

It's only worth what someone's willing to pay for it.

    Lots Of Open Tins

I'm always trying new blends and the rate at which I'm opening tins exceeds the rate at which I'm finishing them. What I've been doing is emptying half-finished jars of my less favoured blends and sealing them in mylar. Figure I'll throw 'em in a box and get back to them eventually. I've got a...

    Running Into People Or Not

Tell him some dude on the pipe forum loves the song Coming Down and blasts it to this day.

    Should I Buy Aged Tobacco?

Such an underrated band! What blows me away about Ween is not so much the genre-hopping and experimentation, but the absolute mastery of the craft. It's not just about pushing boundaries but they also unironically wrote some ridiculously catchy and beautiful pop songs.

    4Noggins - Tobacconists - Missing In Action?

It's random. I have gotten over a pound through, and have gotten a 1.5 oz pouch taxed. You pays your money and takes your chances.

    Whats Your Lawn-Mowing Blend?

Another vote for SWR. My driving blend.

    Real Bad at Lighting Cigars

In my experience drawing on a cigar while lighting it gets it way too hot and overwhelms the flavor. Take your time lighting it... the slower the better. Keeping the tobacco burning cool is just as important with cigars as it is with pipes.

    Should I Buy Aged Tobacco?

Look at it this way- the last tin of a tobacco you love will give you 15-20 smokes to savour and enjoy. Yesterday I smoked a single cigar I had from a sampler, absolutely loved it, and then found out that it's been discontinued. One smoke and gone.

    Should I Buy Aged Tobacco?

Living in Canada I "cellar" cigars and pipe tobacco based on necessity. Anytime I take a trip I make sure to maximize the personal allowance to bring tobacco back into the country. Generally speaking I find that this pays off - I prefer the taste of aged tobacco and cigars. But I also have...

    Burley Recommendation

Regular. Aro is a completely different blend IMO.

    Burley Recommendation

I thought I did not like burleys and then I had SWR and fell in love. That's a good start.
