    Question about HH Latakia storage.

    All I've been doing is throwing the boxes as-is into mylar and heat sealing the bag. I have not yet opened any but don't have any that have been sealed up for more than 2-3 years. Is this a bad idea, due to the cardboard/moisture factor?

    I've yet to find a (non aro) tobacco I don't love with coffee. I also tend toward burley forward blends with a black coffee. Right now I'm enjoying Pegasus in the morning. Haunted Bookshop for a bit more strength. SWR goes fantastic with coffee. Doblone D'Oro is my default.

    Enlighten me on C&D and GLP

    C&D offers a more "raw" tobacco taste. In my experience when they hit it right, it's amazing. But if it's a blend that's not quite to your taste, it can be a big miss, because there's nothing extra to smooth out the rough edges. Age definitely helps in that regard.

    Even if someone else picks up the SPC blends, I doubt they will produce the many variations (barrel aged, special reserve, etc). Who knows what the end result will look like. PP and MR in particular are very unique blends to me and I'm not sure they can be easily replicated.
