Protocol Question: Real Name or forum user name?

I don’t mind. I put my real name at the bottom of my posts in the tag line. I think real names make forum posts more personal.

Let’s Talk About Bags… (Long Post)

I have many (many) pipe bags, they all serve a purpose. Some are for home storage use and some are for travel. Some are repurposed and some are from pipe companies. My favorite example of a repurposed bag is this gun/bullet case, which I use to store and organize my pipe cleaning supplies.

Sasieni 4 dot -- wet smoker

I've heard this same line many times. Not surprisingly, it is always by collectors with focus on old Brit Wood. There is a lot of truth to this, but I'm not fully convinced. Bjarne Nielsen

Bjarne is a good old Danish line of pipes. Nothing wrong with them at all. I have one still in my collection and it is made the cut time and again. I like it very much and can't bring myself to part with it. For the price they are good pipes. Not top shelf or highly collectible, but good.

When Artisans Make Lower Grade Pipes

Such an important point and concept to keep in mind. As with many things pipe-related, it is crucial to focus on a specific topic or question. We as a group tend to have bias when discussing pipes and the larger market therein. As you mention, there are many "markets" to consider.

The NPod Castello Opera 44 Collection

Harris, don’t feed the wild animals, this is a Castello thread. We wouldn’t want to offend the Italians. But here’s some fresh meat to satiate your request. Teddy Eagle Nanna
