What Cigar Are You Smoking? 2025

Don Pepin Garcia Tastes and smells great, but has a tight draw and awful burn. I literally ran my lighter out of fluid trying to touch it up and keep it going. Might try it again in the future and hope I get better construction.

What Cigar Are You Smoking? 2025

Finished up the last of the ADV's I had on hand, this one is the Barbarroja's Invasion. A nice maduro with an interesting floral note. A nice evening of listening to the storms off in the distance as my son discussed his Halloween costume plans for the entire hour long smoke, lol.

Trying this Tatuaje this morning. It's got some great flavor but the toasty/burnt notes from the Connecticut wrapper are not to my liking. I'm going to have to get one in the Sungrown, it will probably be right in my wheelhouse.

What Cigar Are You Smoking? 2025

Enjoyed an ADV Explorer this morning. This one got very good in the second third and continued to taste great the rest of the way through.

It's awesome that you made it, it is a very limited field and very competitive. I still followed it for years and love the art form. I continued to pursue the arts (though not anymore), but left the cartooning world to those more suited to it. I still think Watterson was the apex of the craft.

Calvin and Hobbes, I was obsessed with that strip as a kid, wanted to be a cartoonist, until I realized at age 13 that I wasn't funny, lol.

Storm rolled through and powers out, so might as well sit on the porch and and smoke. Smoking Telegraph Hill in a new-to-me Doug Finlay. This is by far my chunkiest pipe, it's a very comfortable hand holder with a nice bit. Enjoying it a lot so far.

What Cigar Are You Smoking? 2025

I have the week off work, and am hoping to get a lot of smoking and relaxing done. First up is this ADV Blue Eyed Jack, it's a nice cigar, but has an earthier and drier profile than I like.

Perdomo 20th Sungrown . This one's nice enough, but I'm not finding anything special about it. I've been trying to find a Perdomo that I love, and so far I quite like the 10th Connecticut and Sungrown, but still searching for that one that I really love. Any recommendations?

I've been saving this one for a couple years, and figured Father's Day was a good enough occasion to fire it up. Ashton ESG 21 year. It's pretty great

    Must try G.L. Pease?

Reading through this thread I was struck by just how many blends people recommend. I tallied up the blends and 32 different blends were recommended. That's approximately 75% of the entire G.L. Pease catalog. That's really impressive. As stated above, you can't really go wrong if you pick...

***What Are You Smoking, March 2025?***

Finally warming up around here, which means yard work and more importantly, pipe smoking! Having some Telegraph Hill in a Heritage Heirloom. I didn't much care for this blend when I opened it last year, but I tried it again a few weeks ago, and now it's all I want to smoke. Loving it!

    What are You Reading Now?

That's a great description of the book. I loved it and got a kick out of all the footnotes.
