When I burned drops from Mastuc gum today, they burn quickly and turn into yellow ooze and give off a solid amount of smoke. I have one of those transparent tank torches somewhere. I used it on a possible ebony wood cheap Chang Feng pipe and got nausea. Ultimately I gave up using both the pipe and the torch. Thanks very much to you and everyone on the thread for all these tips.- rakovsky
