    Pipes You Don't Smoke?

All of my pipes tend to get smoked, some more than others. I do have an old comoy's that I love but rarely smoke as I can't get rid of the lakeland ghost. lol Usually if I have pipes I don't smoke I trade them in.

    Why Peterson?

Not sure I've got plenty of Savinelli's that I haven't had any issues with. I've had a few other cheaper brands that I won't buy again usually because the stem is pretty crappy and the draught hole is too small.

    Why Peterson?

My second oldest pipe is a Peterson system pipe that smokes great. I've been smoking that pipe for probably over 30 years. However my most recent Peterson was a Peterson Rosslare Royal Irish. It was a gorgeous pipe that smoked like absolute crap. There was a HUGE gap between the end of the...

    Do You Avoid Heavier Pipes?

I use the bits. Also there's no reason not to clench other than having pipes that make it uncomfortable.

    Do You Avoid Heavier Pipes?

I clench and heavier than 1.5oz makes it uncomfortable. I generally try to buy under 1oz or as close to 1oz as possible. I also try to always make sure there's a minimum of .25" thickness on the walls. I'm going to have to break that rule when I finally buy one of those IMP Meer's I've been...

    Dagner Missouri Meerschaum Cob Poker

I'd like to get a Dagner. I've got those C&D MM pipes. Both are great. My problem with the Forever stems is the price. I can buy a Dagner or another C&D MM pipe for the same price.

What Is The Best Vanilla Aro?

I am a big vanilla fan and I've tried them all. I really have to say Lane Vanilla Black Cavendish if you can find it is far far far and away the best vanilla. Even Jim gives it 4 stars!!!!! I have to say it is so good I'd almost be willing to say it might end up being my desert island pick.

Do We Really Have it Better?

I must be lucky. My neighborhood everyone knows each other. All our kids grew up together and played together on "The Green" area in the middle of the development. We have a neighborhood wide block party every year where everyone brings food for themselves plus some extra to share. By the way...

    Peterson P-lip Question

I've got one. I like it but if I were to ever buy a Peterson again I'd get it with the fishtail stem. Not the easiest to run a pipe cleaner though.

I love LBF but only after it's gotten at least 3 years on them. I've always just rubbed them out. I'll have to give this a try. Thanks.
