What works better, Mason Jar VS (See pic inside)
just make sure it's sealed good. for the stuff i'm not "cellaring", i use some plastics (for stacking convenience) - and i find i need to keep a sheet of plastic (saran wrap, sandwich bag, etc.) in the mix to make damn sure the covers seal properly. doody.- mrdoody

Back From LJ Peretti's (I Mean Boston)
There is still an Ehrlich's, but it isn't a pipe store with guys making pipes in the window. It's a bar/restaurant in Boston near Faneuil Hall that has a good-sized walk-in cigar humidor and a few hand-blended pipe tobaccos. It's not a pipe destination - other than to enjoy a bowl with a drink...- mrdoody

I think I am doing something wrong - cleaning
i seriously doubt your saliva is taking the FINISH off. it's probably just a crudload of gunk on it. i've done that to some of my pipes (though not when they're HOT) and i'm always amazed at how much crud comes off - even when they look clean - and i know i'm not pulling finish off. doody.- mrdoody

if you're going to age it in the bag, be damn sure the bag is not compromised. the last ET bag i got had been a bit roughed up during travel and was not air-tight. the internal plastic tray can wear against the bag and create small holes. i dumped it all into glass and tossed the bag. unless you...- mrdoody
