4Noggins Harvest Moon in a Sav 673. Not bad, went well with my coffee.
I've been looking for a few blends around Match Walnut and Match Revelation. So... American English and/or smokey burley blends I guess.
I generally like most latakia blends I try. My current favorites are GLP Westminster, Match 965, Old Limey Bastard, Balkan Supreme, Nightcap, Billy Budd, Match 759.
The bag note on Captain Bob is awesome. Taste didn't seem to translate.
Had some Mixture 79 this morning. I remember thinking this was disgusting as the first aro I had. It was a pouch and I didn't know to dry anything out back them. Today it was bulk and I dried it out. Not too bad.
I also grabbed a little C&D Captain Bob to try.
For sure he was thrown off. The only pipe smoke he's used to us of the green variety. Haha.
I mostly smoke outside so I don't get to smell my room note. If I smoke in the detached garage, when I'm done I don't go back in.
I haven't smelled church incense since I was 13. But that might be a...
I can't really say myself. But I was camping and puffing on Tuggle Hall when one of my buddies walked up and asked where the incense smell was coming from.
Or get the Match Carter Hall pound bags for 35 bucks on P&C.
Not sure if Sutliff "Estate Blend" is another name for it, or another take on it. It also is in stock at SP.
Agree with 965 and Balkan Supreme. Look for cavendish included in the blend.
Maybe, Two Friends English Chocolate. I have a tin, haven't tried it yet. I'm still working on finding a few more sweeter English blends myself. Sweetest I've had is probably Count Pulaski.
What have you tried? How...
Maltese Falcon in a Sav 320.
First time trying. I'm digging it so far. I should probably grab a big tin.
Looking forward to trying Odyssey later. I grabbed most of the Pease lat blends last summer. Need to go through them.
Just tried some Atlas Balkan. Too rough for me. The nic hit is almost right though. I really need to figure out a morning english in bulk with some balls that isn't rough or a total lat bomb. Wish Nightcap was bulk.
Maybe I could sprinkle some burley in a super smooth blend. Hmmm...
